Bay Village Early Childhood PTA

All general meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, September through May, at Normandy Elementary School (unless otherwise noted). Free babysitting is provided and refreshments are served at each meeting.

September 13, 2007 ~ Member Social and Potluck
Join us for a relaxed evening of socializing and getting acquainted. This is a great opportunity to learn about how you and your children can become involved in our wonderful organization. Board members provide lots of food, so come hungry!

October 11, 2007 ~ Vendor Fair and Fall Festival
Members are invited to showcase their home-based business ventures, many of which include fun and educational products. Members can browse, socialize and enjoy Fall treats.

November 8, 2007 ~ Preschool Open House
Preschools from the Bay Village area will present their programs at individual stations. Representatives will be available with information and to answer any questions. Hot pizza will be served.

December 13, 2007 ~ Holiday Social
Take a break from holiday stress and spend some time with friends while we help complete tray favors for children at local hospitals.

January 10, 2008 ~ Fitness Edge presents “Obliterate Fat Forever!”
Is your New’s Year Resolution to get into shape? Did you over-indulge during the holidays? Join us as a personal trainer tells us the secret to “obliterating fat forever.” Light and healthy refreshments will be provided.

February 14, 2008 ~ Dietician
It’s Valentine’s Day! A Fairview Hospital dietician will provide information on feeding our growing families easy, healthy meals. Refreshments will be yummy Valentine treats.

March 13, 2008 ~ Speech/Language Pathologist
A Speech/Language Pathologist will discuss speech development from birth to 5 years, including milestones and warning signs. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation. Be sure to enjoy some ice cream and dream of the summer days ahead.

April 10, 2008 ~ Voting and Spring Social
All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting and vote for next year’s officers. Also, don’t miss the drawing for this year’s grand prize! After the meeting, please join us at the Ironwood for a Spring social.

May 7, 2008 ~ Installation Dinner
The location will be determined in early 2008. The 2008-2009 Executive Board will be installed. All members are encouraged to attend!

General meetings typically include socialization time with refreshments, a business portion, and an informative speaker.

Board meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month at the home of a board member. Board meetings begin at 7:30 pm and are open to the general membership.
